Hello Lovelies,

I'm, well, still searching for a mer-name! I have several ideas, but nothing has stuck so far... Planning to change my name when I find a good one though. I've always loved mermaids. When I was little my favorite movie was the Little Mermaid (I watched it on repeat many many times, and used to hide silverware in my bedroom.) I am currently a student in Marine Biology since I've always loved the Ocean and the creatures within. My hobbies include, crafting (yarn, beads, wire, hot glue, ect), music (listening to, singing along with, attempting to play), and Writing (Science Fiction- hence the Steampunk name currently, Fantasy, and occasionally Historical Fiction.)

I'm so excited to have found a community of people who share a love of Mermaids/Mermaiding! I really hope to make some new friends here and to become an active part of the community. I don't currently have a tail, but am planning to make my first one after the Holidays. Perhaps by then I'll have decided on a name (any suggestions?). Can't wait to meet everyone!

Welcome to Mernetwork! There are some Marine Biologists in our community and no doubt most mers are into crafting, music, writing, and science fiction! I am sure you will fit right in!
