    Exclamation URGENT QUESTION:

Does anyone know of a way to change the color of a tail? Strip the color? Repaint it?

If so, how ? Or do you know of someone who can?

I currently have a dark green tail, but the more I swim in it, the more I would really like to opt for a lighter color such as aquamarine. I really don't want to buy a new tail because it's super expensive and if I sell mine and buy another one then I'm tail-less during the summer!

    Please Help!

If its silicone you could try wiping it down with rubbing alcohol and airbrushing new colored silicone on top, but idk if it would stick simce the silicone might be too far past the green period. Maybe someone else can give you other ideas?

Is it a silicone tail? You can't strip color, you would have to paint over it like Rett said.

Yeah because most tail makers (the good ones) actually use silicone with pigment in it to paint tail you can't 'strip' off the paint without removing the silicone itself. That being said if you simply use more silicone with a different colour pigment you should be able to change the colour easily enough assuming the tail isn't too old (old silicone past its bonding date often will never bond properly to new silicone properly meaning it'll flake off over time). Other than that you might just need a few layers to hide the darker colours.
