Show us your tail designs!

Hey everyone, I'm having a hard time deciding which fluke design I'm going for. These are just rough concepts, but I'd really love some feedback! The thin lines across are where the monofin would likely sit. Remember that this is for a fabric tail, so it'll be flowy regardless, I'm just trying to nail down a shape. Personally I love #3, but that fluke is ginormous! I'm a powerful swimmer, so I could do it, but I'm wondering if it would be too much?

Looking like purples and greens, I'll be using this fabric for the main body:

But still trying to decide if I want to use a colored vinyl for the fluke "webbing"

Yep! It's my first tail too, I have some sewing experience, but not a ton.

I have a Finis Aquarius monofin that I have been swimming with for a while.

Go slow and zig zag if your on machine.
Probably want to practice on a spare piece first

from a fluidics perspective, would't the 'dongle' off the end of the first one actually flutter and cause additional drag?

Probably, I figured the tail bit there wouldn't be that thin, but didn't show that well.
