Idk what I should do! I had a plan to do a pool party with everyone who pitched in to help me get the tail but since I had no clue when it would arrive, I didn’t really set a date and with wedding planning and events, idk when I can squeeze in a party lol! Ahhh! Maybe I’ll just do a normal unboxing lol!

Did anyone else see the fabric tail they posted? It’s posted in the Pod Squad on Facebook so I won’t post it here but it’s so awesome! Kinda makes me want to order one while I wait for my silicone tail haha

I got another update! It’s aaalllllllmost there lol!!! I wanted hearts and spots training down the front and into the fluke! It’ll represent my friends and family who contributed to my tail because they helped make my dream come true! They need to add a few more details I requested and I hope she’ll be on her way to me soon! I made a collage of the stages of my tail being painted layer over layer (from what they shared) and I swear it’s like 4 different tails LOL!!!

@NaiaMarina YAYAYAYYA!!!! So glad they’re working on it! Did u any chance get a template or mock up like a drawing or preview before they started painting? One of the reasons why mine always looked different is because I wasn’t given a preview. I didn’t know what the end result was going to be or what paints are to be used. They skipped a few steps getting ahead of themselves and painted it pink when they knew it should have been black/white. And I got paranoid on how it would look and had them make adjustments each progress photo because I didn’t know what they were going to do next.

I didn't actually receive one but I gave them a moodboard and mockup of what I wanted my tail to look like which came in handy I suppose coz they got it quite similar. So when I received an update, I was sooooo surprised it was pictures of a painted tail! I did ask them to tweak the color on the fluke which turned out pretty nicely upon the revision. Ahhhh!! Ok! Yeah I had a ton of inspo pictures but not an actually mock-up which would most likely helped them instead of playing yes/no/change this/that with each painted layer lol! Also my personality and likes fluctuate which is a struggle so if they’re updating something new like every couple of weeks, who know how I’ll feel when I see it which makes me hope they can work as quickly as possible before my mind changes

I hope you get it in time for your photo shoot! That would be awesome and I always love seeing people post pics in their tails.
Kinda makes me wonder what order they go in though. I placed my order in November 2015 and last I heard was a week ago and they had only poured the scales and fluke. Maybe they bumped yours ahead for the photo shoot?
