This is a thread to continue discussing MermanJV's design for a merman top, which was originally posted as part of the August MerNetwork Challenge: Merman Fashion Design. When I made that challenge I was really hoping that we could start to come up with ideas for merman fashion accessories, and I don't want people to stop thinking about that just because the challenge is over. We can keep thinking of ideas, and I'd love to see more of this stuff made! Below is a copy of MermanJV's post in the original thread.

I censored it with Starfish. Granted, it's just a dudes nipples, but my camera is fairly detailed. XD

It's referred to as a "body chain." and it only takes a few hours, (and a LOT of chain) to make. I used 20 yards of chain total... ^^; It would've been much easier if I had a dressform, or a mannequin.... but I didn't. D:
