Hi, I'm MerSaku and i am an aspiring professional mermaid and Youtuber from Houston,Texas.
Some of you may know me already but i thought why not post this anyway. : )

I am never what people would expect me to be at first glance, but i love to open up my Mermaid heart to people and once i do it's always magical. I love to sing and i sing in many languages (Japanese, Korean, Italian, Chinese, Taiwanese, French, and English of course).So my head is full of many things all the time. I sculpt, paint, and draw. I started on my comic/manga called Yume Hiko (Dream flight) when i was in the 7th grade or middles school and i am still drawing it till this day. My hair has two braids of purple in front because of a series of dreams i started having after my 13th birthday which a couple had to do with being water and so i guess you can understand why i am a mermaid.The first mermaid i ever saw was from Splash i loved the move so much i thought i would never see it again specially by the time i turned 21 but there it is on youtube.

After that i started seeing more movies with mermaids and princesses but, my family is very un-supportive of all my dreams.Specially when it came to singing more than anything they hated when i would say how bad i wanted to be a singer. And i was often ridiculed on my wanting to be a singer and a mermaid and everything else i ever wanted to do or be. Now as a 21 year old i hope to pursue everything i have wanted to do. i choose to fight for the right of my own personal happiness While sending out a very important message.
That parents should never take the Magical Dreams from a child but encourage their bright and optimistic, and imaginative ideas no matter who they are or where they are from and that children can really be anything they want to be!
I guess you could say i want to be a mermaid motivation speaker for kids and adults, aside from being a mermaid under the sea. : D
I'm working on getting a tail from Mike Van Daal soon. I finally got the first half. I don't know if my blood veins can hold out for the second half but we will see. I want a tail so bad.

Welcome to the new forum! I love to sing in different languages too! In my show choir days I always looked forward to them the most for concert season- Latin being one of my favorites. I'm sorry you're family isn't supportive of you, but I'm glad that you know better and encourage yourself and seek outside support! Everyone deserves to be happy, even if it involves dreams that aren't so mainstream

I envy your singing ability... I have a decent voice, but no real training, so it's always been something I've wanted to improve.

I can barley sing in english let alone a foreign tongue and have it sound half way decent. That's really impressive and amazing you can sing in so many different languages.
