    Question Need some advice please.

A while ago I had made a neoprene tail. It swims great but to me something in missing. I was thinking about extending the fluke to make it more flowing plus to make it look bigger. Now keep in mind that the tail is completed and swimmable. Any ideas?

Here is the tail before I sewed it together.

Oh, flowy! I love flowy things!
Perhaps try some white/clear organza/chiffon sewn onto the end of the fluke, or even that clear strip matting some mers are using?
Note too that if you're using fabric that you consider the drag aspect.

Hmm... Are you happy with the colors and design? The way it moves in the water? We're you thinking of fins or fringe on the fluke? Not exactly sure what you have in mind, but hopefully you can find what you need!

I am happy the way it looks. But i just wish the fluke was bigger or make it look bigger somehow. Like I said before more flowing and not so stiff.

A lot of people seem to use extra material to give that effect!

Do you just want to extend it and have it more flowy, or do you want the shape to be different too?

    More flowy I think

If you want it to be more flowy, perhaps add a layer of black or white fabric (or whatever color) at the edges. It could be lycra (you can find lots of videos of people with fabric flukes that extend past their monofin) or chiffon or anything really, just as long as it goes past the monofin. If you haven't sewn your tail together yet, you could probably leave the bit of neoprene I see seems to extend past you monofin.

As for attaching, sew or glue down your material and paint over it if you think it will help blend it in.

    Hope that helps!
