The Florida Keys Meet Up Planning
At some point, I would love to go to the keys for a big meet up. Last time I was there. Everything was just beautiful and amazing. The keys were where I learned that I was naturally a strong swimmer, and if it wasn't for that trip, I may never have believed I could be the merman I am today. The sad truth is that this meet up isn't exactly something I am doing nor is it something I'm not doing. I just don't have enough money to be able to go there, and I have no idea how we could manage to swim because I not only lack a boat, but I have very limited knowledge of good places to be in the Keys. Pig Pine Key was amazing, but I have been recommended other places. I'm going to be honest. Planning this meet up is not something I will be putting a great deal of energy into until I'm in a better financial situation. It may be a long time before I really dig into the planning of this event, but I'm hoping that one day I can do it. I figure starting this thread is a good start for all those that are interested. Who knows, with enough help from others, I may be able to do it sooner, but I know that I need a stable flow of sand dollars before I can even begin to think about traveling there. One of the things keeping me away from Mermania is close friends and a series of car repairs on top of the credit card debt I am in from my impulsive spending during my Bipolar Mood Swing last summer. I have a lot to recover from before I can begin to set money aside for this.
