Okay, so my tail shipped! I'm so happy because it will be here soon, but sad because it will arrive SMACK in the middle of end-of-year tests so I won't have time to swim in it for a day or two! :-S
(For anyone wondering, it was 11 days from pictures to shipping, but mine had extra fins that needed to be added after the color was approved.)

My parents have finally agreed to me getting a basic tail!!!! However as I am still growing I will need to get it adjusted eventually. So can she take in or make a basic tail bigger? Thanks

Although the video likely won't get put up until a few days after I open the tail, because of testing and time constraints. But I'll try to get it up as soon as I can.
Mine came right in the middle of student teaching when I was just transitioning to 100% teaching it was brutal haha XD

She gave me free shipping, but I think it's to make up for all the delays in the process. Especially the great silicone shortage of 2012. She also included a free $40 belt and a free necklace in the same box.
Edit: but I had asked about shipping when I first ordered. She couldn't tell me how much it would cost until she got to the post office, but she said a tail that she had shipped to Canada (presumably Raina's) cost $80 dollars.

my tail came to Canada so it was just under 200$ shipping and I was lucky enough to NOT get hit with customs fees

How heavy do the boxes weigh, and how are they shipped. UPS etc?
