The good thing about the rain and storms in Florida is as long as it's raining, it will be less likely a hurricane will come along. Hurricanes form when the water gets too hot. So even though it might rain every other day, at least there's no major cyclones moving in.
The Ariel tail is amazing. Best recreation of it I've ever seen. Hmmm... I wonder if Disney will see this tail and consider using Raven to make a costume for the park...

@ Marlin: I say that every year. I thought Irene was going to be it last year (I think? Maybe two) when it was a category 4. But it took the jet stream away from us. But I'm waiting for it. I really am. The last bad hurricane I think was Floyd (For me at least). That was in 1999!! last time I've evacuated.
Im up further on the coast, Katrina, Dennis, and Ivan was my last "bad" summer. and that was.... a couple of years ago at least.

Raven has my fluke done and molded (she hasn't received her silicone yet so she hasn't cast it yet.) She has my heel and pectoral fins sculpted. I just got my sketch for the dorsal because there were two options. I just told her which was okay. @.@ This is so fast!

The big ordeal is to put the monofin straps over my heels, mostly. It used to take one person to hold the fluke, another to hold the tail, and ANOTHER to reach in and pull the straps up. But with the water-based lubricant I was able to pull the straps, and the tail up all the way by myself. I'm so happy!It makes my life so much easier.

it takes a while to learn to get into your tail. I can get in under 5 minutes now, usually takes Ama under 10
