Better Late Than Never :D
Hi, so I have been on the MerNetwork for a month now and I'm just now doing my official introduction. Like the title of the thread says, better late than neverMy name is Summer. I'm married and have 2 dogs (my fur children). No human/mer children yet. I currently work as a Night Auditor at the Front Desk of a hotel which I have been doing for 4 years. I was a Nanny for 7 years and I loved getting to work with kids. I have been obsessed with Mermaids since I was 3 years old and saw Disney's "The Little Mermaid". I don't own a tail yet but I'm in the process of making fabric one. I'm hoping to buy a tail from MerBella Studios Inc. in the next year or 2. I'm planning on starting my own company as a Professional Mermaid in San Antonio, TX where I am moving to in early 2014. Since I am so familiar with the hotel industry I would love to work out a contract with a hotel and do mermaid birthday party's and other functions at the hotel's pool. I figure it's safer than going to people's houses and my husband will be working as a trauma nurse so he won't be able to be my on call Mertender. Mermaids have always fascinated and enthralled me. I'm so glad I found the MerNetwork so I can speak with other people who share my love of all things Mer. Most people look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them that I want to be a Professional Mermaid lol. Let's see, I have been belly dancing for a year. I personally don't feel like I know enough to call myself a belly dancer yet lol. Maybe in another year after I do more level 2 classes. I love to read. I LOVE movies! I'm originally from southern Florida. I'm terrified of sharks, I can't even watch shows about them. I seriously believe that the zombie apocalypse is a possibility, and will gladly shoot anyone who tries to bite and/or eat my flesh lol. I enjoy going to the firing range with my husband. He's ex-Navy and taught me how to shoot. I have met so many wonderful people on here.
