recently, I've been making some pretty cool necklaces, but for now, I don't have photos yet. one of them has a baby sand dollar and fake pearls on a wire. another is a wire with a star fish and some sea glass beads. and the third I made for my mother with fake pearls and sea glass beads. and I'm working on a headband. it's going to have sea shells wrapped in wire on it

I've been wanting to make a top out of polished abalone ever since I found out ones that large existed! That was the day Raven bought and posted the red abalone that she bought (holy crap that was over 2 years ago now O_o time flies), and have had the shells to make this top for months haha :P So I am SO happy I finally took the plunge and made it already! Here are some pics

Neat to know that abalone shells come polished on the outside like that! I love the way the insides look, and had been thinking how much I would love a top with that, but the curve in the shell went the wrong way... Now I know they can be polished on both sides! That is an absolutely beautiful top!

I've started a little collection of mermaid-inspired stuff - cheap things I find in op shops or in clearance bins that I buy just because they're pretty ♡
I haven't got much so far, but I love what I do have!


This beautiful nail polish is from some cheap accessory shop I don't even remember the name of - it has a sort of green-from-one-angle-pink-from-another thing going on, and I love how the bottle itself looks like a pearl!




I found this pill box on sale in a vintage shop,and there was no way I could not buy it.




I work in the lingerie section in Trade Secret,so I can snap up my size in bra as soon as something goes on sale. This set was only $15!
It reminds me of sea foam :3 (Sorry for blatant immodesty, haha)

Tried out making headdress' and hair clips a few weeks back. Still working on it but I don't think I did too bad for a first try and sorry for the many photos.
First headdress was done on a hair band and put on down the back of the hair with fake braided hair to hide the band, didn't work well since it kept falling down and showing the uncovered part of the band.

And i finally put some embellishments on the straps of my abalone bra. an extra layer of netting, some seaweed, abalone shells, and pearls

I have a bunch more stuff that I have laying around that I haven't taken photos of, or that I sent out and didn't take photos beforehand :P I tell ya what, I need to craft more. I put it off but when I get back around to it I realize how great it feels to create
