YES! Henna is absolutely AWESOME! I use hennasooq henna as well, but a henna/cassia mix since my hair naturally has red highlights. This makes it so that my natural color is only a few shades off from the hennaed and my roots don't show. (YAY!) Henna can be a bit difficult to work with and take more time than some dyes, but the lasting power and hair benefits are so worth it.

Okay, I was going to wait until I could get the full set of photos from my photographer (there are some behind-the-scenes shots I wanted to show y'all), but she's being a bit slow. So: TA DAH! The "full" results of my Pamtography shoot at the lake!

I apologize if some of these are big; the resizing methods I'm using are going wonky today. I also apologize to my wonderful Facebook fans, who get to see these twice! ;-)

I use cassia obovata (it is blonde toned henna like plant). It wont lighten your hair but if your hair is light it wont turn it red. It helps me with length retention I think by making the hair stronger since I am determined to grow my hair to tail bone length or classic length.

I'm REALLY hard on my tail, so I'm getting it touched up a bit. I'm also getting more added to the top, because I like my tail to come up high (sort of like Raina's does) so there's NO chance of "mermaid crack," haha!
