Here's a picture of me, taken by my boyfriend at the bellydance hafla I had today. I was pleasantly surprised that it turned out so "priestess of XX order"! Since joining the mer-community, I've realized how many mers are into bellydance as well. I was surprised at first, but I do see how the two passions could be linked! (not to mention how the undulating motion can be similar across both art forms...)

Sometimes I think being gay is a shame because I miss a lot of good and beautiful things on the other side LOL

What style of bellydance do you do? My teacher's Arab, and her father was the first person to bring Egyptian music and movies to my country- so I learn traditional Egyptian. I wish there were ATS resources here, though!

I do American Oriental/Cabaret. I fuse alot of the Classical stuff but also enjoy the fusion type music. I don't to ATS. My husband is a musician so we perform together alot.
