I wonder if you could do some kind of headpiece to sort of give you the long light-blue fin?

I wanted it to contrast with the flame...I didn't do any texturizing or anything, just a sketch on my lunchbreak. And I think if I were to think about it more, I would make the side fins part of the body design.

It's awesome. Maybe I would make the black detailing the red and the flame detailing in the center as I am not sure about the black in the water? Dunno. Regardless; it's amazing and yeah totally want my tail; now lol.

I wanted to take the eyes and do those as highlights down the sides, maybe a few scattered around the bottom of the tail...

I'll try a more detailed version if I can, but I'm at work and on deadline and I'm on mernetwork instead.

I like the betta tail idea, and I was playing with the idea of stylized flames like on a race car.

If someone have the time and will, I would love to see some examples of what you'd think fit me.
Some colors I want is teal, bluegrey, petrol, and for contrast turqouise and purple.
I don't want it too dark, and not so much "tropical-style".
Oh gosh I feel so picky.

Spots! I mentioned that I was using the red drum/channel bass/redfish as the inspiration for my Finfolk tail. I have seen red drum with one black spot on their tail and I have seen tails with two or three.

Then I came across these:





Color me curious.
