Me an inspiration? I'm a mess, did I mentioned that while making my tail I had silicone also in my hair most of the time?
Anyway as I see your progress I am more in love with your tail than with mine! Those spots really came out perfectly, the seems so organic!

Yes by just commenting on here you motivate me to strive forward and finish.

Also this tail is not the "Extended" one im making this is a fabric tail im making for the mermaid parade and meet up in Coney Island but i may be able to make it an extended tail just not for water use . Now you got me thinking! See why i say your a good source of inspiration.

the Colours are simple and bright and the pattern is something else however instead of painting the tail the base colours wouldn't it of been easier to by the fabric in the desired colour then painted on you patten?

Can someone please get me back to the ocean before I suffocate... I need the water......

Yes. Probably not an extended tail but a more realistic (thicker) regular length mermaid tail.

Also a progress pic of the tail painting progress...

I love how the material from body to fin is actually different and the fin has a nice shine even though painted so it def looks like a fin. I love it.

Thanks sister, the fabric i used for the fins is a different kind of fabric than the tail body and haves lots more layers of paint.
