Just a question from a very new tailmaker: how much (more less) did you spend on the making of your tail? Because I have already spent quite a lot of money and I'm just making the mold, haven't bought the dragon skin yet :money:

Honestly between all materials including plaster for mold and powdered pigments and paint thinner and throw away brushes and painting cups and paper towels etc. 1200 estimate but I honestly didn’t count cause this particular tail took me about idk 4.5 years since I started this thread ?! Now that I have it I’m about to begin the creation of the second generation! I’ve learned so much with all the trials I went through and all that I learned from it I am confident in my best steps for sure it won’t be so long this time and I’ll keep track of everything so I can do a comprehensive breakdown.

I used dragon skin for the scales and layered silicone and neoprene for the build

Swimming in it I feel like I’m in a dream! [emoji3059]
The only bad part is carrying it through the woods back to the car or from the pool all the way up and out side to the car lol it’s heavy like a Ill managed marriage [emoji38]
