B!TC# IT OUT!

I've hit rock bottom before, and my friends wanted to turn me in to the authorities and my work for abusing marijuana (seriously, it was an HOURLY thing). It would have destroyed my life if they had. Instead, they just stopped being my friends. I literally lost all of my friends because of my drug problem. I honestly don't know what's worse.

Then again, this is cocaine we're talking about. Far more harmful and far more illegal as far as I'm aware. I'd tread cautiously, but because she isn't listening to anyone and can't be medicated for her disorder... that's a tough one.

Since the topic is on drugs and some of you seem to be knowledgeable in that area;

it has been suggested I take cannabis instead of normal painkillers.
Apparently, cannabis works better and has no side effects, PLUS it's anti-carcinogenic, kills bacteria, etc.

I'm hesitant about it though, because I'm not sure it really has no side-effects.
Doesn't it change the psyche?
What do you think?
(I'm not taking the conventional painkillers because of the side-effects, btw. I'm suffering through it. :p )

When my migraines get insanely out of control, I take cannabis (although illegally) along with over the counter medication for my migraines. It works like a charm. It does make me feel a little loopy, but manageable. It really depends on whether or not you need it with THC. The THC is what makes you feel funny. It doesn't change who you are, it just slows you down. It heightens your senses, and sometimes gives you an appetite. That's pretty much it. Just don't drive.

I'm just glad nobody is complaining about how I know what it is, I may be young but I'm not dumb lol. I'm very sex positive because it's better to be educated than end up pregnant or diseased.

Obviously I have not been on this forum enough lately, LOL. The BDSM community is great. Mostly made up of very friendly and respectful people, though all communities have their bad eggs.

Most of the "kink community" is nothing like that. Please don't clump people doing illegal things in with those of us who strongly follow the rules of "safe, sane, and consensual." And when people are higher than kites it is not safe, not sane, and questionably consensual. Just like the gay community, the BDSM community is proud of who we are and do our best to promote a more realistic view than most of society holds. There are public dungeons in every big city and doing drugs is a great way to get yourself banned for life. You wouldn't blame the softball community if someone played softball and also did drugs. Just a because a few do it does not mean the label should be assigned to the whole. Pick up a copy of S&M 101 by Jay Wiseman or the book "Screw the Roses, Send me the Thorns" for an idea of what the RESPECTABLE kinky world is about.

Someone else mentioned this earlier, but don't send any photos from fetlife to her job to try and get her fired. Things posted to fetlife is intended for friends on fetlife and others who enjoy the kink lifestyle and what they do in their bed room are their business and their business only.

The only thing that seems to help in my family with people with drug problems is to leave them. Let them know that if they don't stop they won't be getting funding, rides, won't be living under your roof, etc. and let them decide if they'll go to treatment or if they'll leave.

Good for you. Until I was 19 or so I thought sex was happened when two people "slept together"...as in shared the same bed overnight. Oh the joys of growing up without friends...so ignorant on so many things. Now if only I could find a kink community around where I live.

Do you know anyone in the kink community? and is there a certain community you're looking for? (I don't know about other places, but here in AZ there are different groups and events for different kinks, like ABL, Sissy, DDLG, CGL, spanking, bondage, latex, swingers, etc)

People are so cheap nowadays, especially in the horse world, and in my state. Most of the horse people here are on something, and just want to buy gold for cheap. Just to ruin it and spill beer on.

At least the little girls trying to buy it so they can have a mice saddle to doll their horses up with are offering half decent prices. Its sad when CHILDREN understand the price of a good saddle vs. an adult.
