that awkward moment when you talk to a freind you have known forever (like since school) and a few years ago they where totally on the whole silicone mermaid tail thing and they where so enthusiastic about it but when you talk to them a year or so after and ask who they have a tail by the respond with:
"oh that! No I didn't get one atall as I thought it through and it all ended up being too childish and immature for my image. Please tell me you don't still do that?!"
and then hen the awkward moment when you have to either denie the whole thing casually going around slowly covering up all evidence or be completely honest and end up in a spiral of information and dates for events that whom I am speaking with clearly thinks it too immature and childish.
When your family thinks mermaiding is weird so your basically living a double life and then they walk in on you doing mermaid selfies and slowly walk out.
Tamw you just stalk MN and haven't been posting a lot yet somehow you're still the top poster.... Uh.......

Tamw you have a tail design in your head but can't afford to recreate it in silicone and the you see a very similar tail being made and you get sad cause you couldn't get yours made first.
Please note: this is not me claiming someone has stolen my idea or design. I am very happy for that mermaid and her gorgeous tail.

I couldn't tell if he was joking or not for the longest time, so I just kind of sat there looking at him like he was crazy.
