that awkward moment when you talk to a freind you have known forever (like since school) and a few years ago they where totally on the whole silicone mermaid tail thing and they where so enthusiastic about it but when you talk to them a year or so after and ask who they have a tail by the respond with:

"oh that! No I didn't get one atall as I thought it through and it all ended up being too childish and immature for my image. Please tell me you don't still do that?!"

and then hen the awkward moment when you have to either denie the whole thing casually going around slowly covering up all evidence or be completely honest and end up in a spiral of information and dates for events that whom I am speaking with clearly thinks it too immature and childish.

Aww. Being mature is only useful in areas like paying bills and taxes, and taking care of the boring stuff that just has to be done. Outside of that, maturity is highly overrated. Get done what has to get done and then do what you love!
