I LOVE the look of their new fabric tails! They're such a beautiful pattern, with any luck the chosen material will be thicker so not transparent, and LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THOSE FLUKES!
I think there's at least three colours I'd immediately kill to get, sadly at the moment can't even truly afford one. But they're far more affordable than the mythic or silicone tails so hopefully will get one soon.
That is, if they're okay with shipping to the UK. I don't remember if Finfolk are among the companies having trouble dealing with UK customs? Be so sad if they are.

I'm in love with the dark red. I just wish I wasn't so awkwardly shaped... to get a small and it'll fit tight in the butt for a bit, or get a medium and have to take it in probably at least twice.

How are everyone else's silicone orders coming along? I'm really hoping that now that the fabric tail launch is out of the way there will be a shift in focus to the silicone orders. I'm trying to stay excited about my tail but as sad as I am to say, with the lack of communication and lack of progress on my tail my excitement is slowly turning into frustration.
Nothing new on my end as of yet but I believe based on their Insta post, the twins should be back in studio the next couple of days so fingers cross you'll hear back from them by this week :)Quote:

But yes I feel you on the wait. I suppose whats helping me get through it is that my parents don't know I'm getting a silicone one; mom knows about the fabric one. But I do know they would not be supportive of it. And I full expect my mother to try and take/hide it, so trying to figure out a hiding spot for it has been tricky since keeping it folded isn't actually good for it. So that plan is out the window.
My silicone is apparently nearly done. The wait is getting really hard because it’s so so close to finish. I think they’re about 90% done according to the last progress photo. I asked them to add some more spots on the fluke and they need to add some more blended color on the backside to match the front. Then they’ll finish with a holographic sparkly coat! So close!!!!!

Yeah that's what I'm thinking [hiding it under the bed]. It's where I've been hiding the mermaid bag and my monofin. I'd just have to rearrange it underneath again.
@badkidbebe it's going to be so pretty! I love the hearts for all your friends who contributed and helped you get the tail. <3 I'm doing something similar for my close friends. Also I love the way you do unboxing videos. They're so neat and tidy. What do you film with?

IT IS FINALLY IN MY ARMS!!!!!! IM SO HAPPY!!!! I asked them beginning in November if i can have by my bridal shower and I got an email on Wednesday Nov 29 that then can ship it! So we were all scrounging to get photos, payment, approvals, etc. going. It was crazy! They shipped it overnight Friday in time for my bridal shower and i surprised my guests and opened it with them there! I was trying not to cry and I was shaking with excitement!
I did an unboxing that needs to be edited but I haven’t even started my YouTube so I won’t post it until maybe about one or two videos in maybe. Idk I’m a hot mess. And I may look unenthused in the video bc its just me being so anxious and shaking I was trying to keep composure lol! I’ll throw in some photos and clips here in the meantime until i decide what to do with the unboxing video!
