I received a bootleg(?) mermaid tail

So I've seen a couple threads about these bootlegged tails now. Do we know what Finfolk had said about them? I've seen a bit of invocation of their name and ideas of what they *might* be thinking but nothing official from them.

People have been linking them on their Facebook Finfolk Pod Squad group and their responses indicate that they are upset about it but there isn't much they can do because the companies are outside of the US.
