    Pinholes

Long story short I was doing some tail repairs and went to the bathroom and my cat decided to use the fluke as a scratching post so there are pinholes and gashes all along the fluke. I’ve only had the tail for two months and due to this split second injury the paint is no longer smoothed at all. Is there a clear outer coating I can put on top to help from any further damage of and when I try to swim with it next? It’s a full silicone and I’ve only swam in it twice I’d hate to risk ruining it by swimming in it again and having the paint peel since it’s starting to some off already due to my idiot cat.

If it's really a full silicone tail, the colour payments (no paint) are mixed in with the silicone and won't rub off.

It has multiple colors sprayed on the fluke and the Layers are starting to peel back there it was scratched.

It sounds like it needs to be patched. Do you have any photos?
