Hi there everyone! It's been a while! Nice to surface again!
Been drowning in sequins and other baubles over here!

Well I wanted to share some pics with you of a top style I have been working on lately! Always new things happening! If you haven't yet, check out my FB page! Link is in my signature AND HERE! (<---- Click that)

And to answer your questions now, YES EVERY SINGLE ONE of those sequins I sewed on BY HAND! O_O LONG and hard on the hands!! But very worth the labor!





That one will be done in the next couple of days! I have two more I am working on! One in Gold/yellow and a purple/pinky/white one

and ZOMG. My hands HATE me now. HATE ME!! But it's so worth it. I am just super glad that these are working the way I intended! I am also glad that I was able to test this new style on bustier topped mermaids! The blue and Gold tops are BOTH size D!! The purple one is personal use and I am not so well endowed as the other ladies.

Another project I have been doing with sequins (still on going.) Is revamping a pair of my shoes! Not done with these yet.... still a lot to do on just the ONE shoe alone. but I am gluing these sequins so its MUCH easier!

Just a thought...why did you do the scales pointing up? I would think they were more hydrodynamic pointing down...

Yes, they normally are. But these are really small and placed pretty close together... I started doing it that way to get the scalloped edge look and kept going without changing it over... so I decided to try some thing a little different. They shouldn't drag too much to cause any sort of issues. Since they are small and not large, they are less likely to flap about. If it was a tail, I would have done them pointing down for sure
These two tops are prototypes and open for all inventive designing, the ladies that are getting them know this and are also getting them at a SUPER discounted price.

IF I do decide to continue to work with sequins, It will be at a higher cost... the amount of TIME is just so extensive!

So true!! It's TONS of work! I think I have dedicated a solid week's worth of hours to just the ONE blue top alone! But its sooooo worth it all!

sad update... my 3 year old got to this project and my fabric glue.... -_-' that is the end of that one.... BUT I have LOTS more shoes and lots more sequins!
