It hasn't happened yet, but I imagine with the kinds of speed some people can swim with a monofin, I could prob put their fastest lane swimmers to shame!

I hate having a weak bladder!!
Raina wrote of the annoyances of performing whilst having to pee; it's not as if a mermaid can swiftly run to the washroom! When I was lifeguarding at inservices (practice/tests to maintain our skills delivered on a bi-monthly basis) I would find my bladder to be somewhat indecisive; I would emerge from the washroom after only a minimal passage and then find that my real need to pee emerged/was felt almost immediately thereafter. Perhaps being in the water exacerbates it....
