Yeah, that's not H2O's normal sound. No need to worry, they don't sound like that. :P
In fact, that is not even the usual title song, at least not the version we get in Germany on DVD. There the title is "ordinary girl" for all three seasons on both the English and the German track. Maybe different countries have different titles?

Actually that's not the title sequence :P that's just the first scene of season 2 episode 1....it's a swim scene accompanied by music. The title sequence is usually before that but is cut in this video.
My guess is they either changed the pitch, or sped up the audio in order to avoid 'copyright infringement' which happens all too often on YouTube with TV shows and such.
Is the animated H2O thing real?? :O I can't click on the Twitter link, my PC says Twitter is an unsafe site and may have potential viruses...so can't go check the announcement thingy.
Looks like it, but I don't spend enough time (or any) on twitter to be 100% certain. I'm 96% certain, though, that this is real.

Had a mini heart attack when I saw this picture!
Look at all the tails! So many tails! I'm sure some of them are backups but damn that's a lot of mermaids.
Edit: Apparently, the tails on top are from H2O so now we know what happened to them! Not sure what this means. The only actresses (mermaids) I could see coming back from the H2O universe would be Bella and Rikki as those actresses aren't involved in major shows in another hemisphere. It could either be that or maybe they're just reusing those tails for scenes with many mermaids.
