There is currently a cruel joke going around right now that people shouldn't be surprised if the event gets canceled due to the impending weather. I've been watching the weather for the weekend and it's been saying that Sunday is suppose to be sunny with some clouds and in the 80's, so fins crossed!

God luck; my event today got cancelled. Second time in a row; I'd really like to swim in my tail!!

While there I was serenaded by a band called Shannachie. It was such an awesome surprise. I thought my Captain had a hand in it but he said it wasn't his idea. They got a video of the whole song being sung to me. I'll let everyone know when they post it.

Thanks, Sin! I know eventually we'll get the gigs we want. We're going to start busking this summer as Mermaid Galene and Salty Stuart the Pirate, which is bound to garner some attention and gigs. Meanwhile, it's inspiring to see so many talented, creative mers successfully getting bookings.
