Speaking of lobsters, that awkward moment when kids ask you if you have a pet, and you say a lobster. But your mind is so out in space that when they ask his name you just blurt out "Joseph".... REALLY. OUT OF ANY NAME MY MIND SAID JOSEPH. Lol I literally just said what first came off my mind then explained to them that it's not a common name in the sea, so when I heard a human named Joseph I just had to name my pet that xD

Also, Loser Fish is brilliant! It's title actually reminds me of a line in Spice World wherein Melanie Brown (Scary Spice) is comparing fish to people and comes upon "this ugly loser one that reminds me of my ex-boyfriend, Steven." The thought of an "ugly loser fish" made me smile....

That awkward moment when you have just finished making your first tail, have finally gathered enough will power to swim with it in public, are successful in getting your mom (who may not actually know that you are into mer stuff) to drive you to the pool without her seeing your tail, getting in the pool, and then you spot one of your high school friends at the pool, walk directly back to the change room, and take the bus home. And having to make up a clever excuse for coming home early while on the bus. I guess I haven't really come out of my shell yet, have I?

Okay, that awkward moment when everyone thinks your a bad mom because you took your 2 year old who had just started talking to a lobster restaurant and they put whole cooked lobsters before all of the family. She points and says "WOBSTER!" And I say..."Yes! Good..it IS a lobster!" (All enthusiastic) and she is smiling and clapping her hands and then my husband who is sitting next to her breaks his lobsters tail off....
Her little face goes all horrified...she points at the lobster and says.."Wodster Hurt!"...."Wobster Hurt daddy"....omg.....every time my husband went to pick up his lobster she would give him the saddest look and say..."Wobster hurt"....
I'm a bad mommy.My husband hasn't really eaten lobster since LOL.

TAMW you find out there's a mermaid in the same little town as you and you call you see if you can meet up to talk about mermaiding things and the phone call is filled with gaps of silence and awkward talking. OTL I'm not very good at speaking over a phone, I think I confused her. But she agreed to meet up tomorrow so we could at least kinda talk about monofins?
