Finfolk Productions: anyone ordered a tail from them? I just did!

Soooo... Everyone's been so quiet lately on this post. Does anyone have a tail in the works currently besides me and Crystal?

Mine should be annnyyyy day now (at least I hope). When are you getting yours? Has it been shipped yet?

No, last I heard, was fin attachment and scale tipping and that was 2 days ago? Waiting on pictures. I hope they're done soon, I'm going on vacation next Friday and I was hoping to take it with tis been nearly 7 months now, I'm uber anxious to have it done seeing a preview from the weekend. Can't wait to show everyone too

7 months? Aagh how can I control myself and wait. I think Santa wont bring me a new tail..

Yep... so did I. They have been doing the "Oh we are almost done, going to ship next week" thing for about a month and a half now. Don't get me wrong, I understand that most tail makers (gonna use Merbellas as my example) several months to do a repair/refit but it does not get any less frustrating being told week after week that it will be coming.

Still, the last message they left me was about dropping off several client's worth of gear at UPS yesterday, so who knows? Could be today when everybody's tracking numbers come in.

Yes, but I know that they had a schedule put together and servicing mine mucks that up. I'm fairly convinced your's and mine will ship at the same time. Still- of all the things to keep me up at night... it's worth it

And thank you everyone. And I know your pain Dan, so far, about 6-7:tails have gotten finished and posted since my 1 has been started.

Here's the preview of mine they posted a while ago on instagram. I REALLY hope I get out before I travel. I planned my vacation with the current time thinking that my tail would have been done in June and it's nearly September ._.; Summer is fading here and you can feel it. I'm quite sad all my plans didn't go through. I was hoping June was the latest.

I asked them if they could make it, and they said yes.. Don't know if they'll be offering them to everyone. =)

I just finished my sketches for my new tail design, pending a few life changing events I will be putting a down payment on my finfolk tail in the fall! I can't wait to show you all the design and get feed back

I ordered mine in early June and told them I have no deadline. I'm assuming I'll get it in November-January with the current rate of things . No matter how good they are at scheduling, when people add-on/rush order/etc. it messes it up. Not saying anything's wrong with that, it's just how things are. And I'd rather they take their time on my tail then try to rush it for some deadline- after all, it's a work of art!

When I placed my order, in my mind I was supposing an October finish. But based on some of the comments here, I'm guessing it'll be a Christmas tail.
