(also, incidentally, looks a bit like the tail I just finished. Reminds me of the seadragon Merbella as well.

I really like the look of this design I made. I'm not so sure about all the fins though and I feel like the fluke needs a little something too.

My summer tail will be something other than orange... The swimsuit will be a one piece in the same fabric, so that when I wear the tail, it'll look like I'm all fish!

Okay so not exactly my tail 'design' perse but I am looking for opinions on this one. I have an order with Raven of Merbellas for a silicone tail and I am a little torn as to whether go with something safe that I know I'll like, or be adventurous (which I'm naturally not) and order something a little more potentially jaw dropping. If I did at the moment I have close to no idea what I'd want it to look like but I'm thinking something based off this image of a dragon called a "Tide Caller" made by Neon Dragon Art, however I am worried this may be a little too close to the Sea Dragon tail she did a little while ago and am wondering what people think? If I went with the 'safe design' it would look like the koi tail in design, but with a blue colour scheme.

So ever since my best friend found out about the tail I'm getting made, she's been really seriously considering saving up to get one for herself too; she mentioned wanting one kind of shark-like, and that got me thinking about designs based off whales, sharks and dolphins. I originally set out to try making an orca-based tail, but while I was looking up photo references I came across the Maui Dolphin, which I fell in love with.

So I made a Maui Dolphin tail! (... Using Merbella's Angler fluke because I am so weirdly obsessed with that fluke shape for some reason, oops)
