No, the tail is mine. They other two mermaids in our pod are shorter with smaller hips than I am so there was no concern for stretching, and I trust these girls as I have worked with them for months and known them for even longer. The reason we rotated is because we wanted to constantly have a mermaid on display for the children, but after two or three hours the constant attention, smiling, posing for photos, coupled with the numb/achy feet, back, arms, etc. makes for a not-so-happy mermaid. We rotated so that we could always have a mermaid on display, but also give each mermaid a break for lunch, to stretch her legs, etc.

We were supposed to have two tails, but Mertailor was a month later than he had told us he would be in making our tail (it arrived two days ago), so we only had the one. I made the decision to let them all share in my tail for the sake of the booth/company promotion.
