Merin, thank you for showing us the Peacock Mantis Shrimp mermaid tail in action; it is beautiful and you are beautiful in it!

Raina, bidding farewell to Rapidash in lieu of something new is bittersweet, but at least it got to be the cover tail of a book (or two)!

I'm willing to wait for dragon scales, as my tail is quite complex as Raina said and I am not sure when I might make a public appearance in it; we'll see how things go with the Synod....

Merin- wow. The almost giraffe-y spots look so cool underwater! Like the patterns on the bottom of a pool from the waves on the surface. Gorgeous.

Normally I'm not fond of huge fins like those on Raven's tail but they just...fit, so well.

Those fluke shapes are INCREDIBLE, I'm dying over the one on the golden tail! And that lionfish... Karri and Raven both look amazing!

Raina I have a quick question, since you only said recently that Raven started your tail, but that it will be finished in the next month or so, does that mean that Raven does have like a 'line' and works on just one or two tails at a time before starting the next ones? Or does she work on many at the same time, working on them bit by bit?

I'm asking only because I was thinking since mine is so far off, at least 4-6 months, that maybe I should hold off sending her my measurements until she's closer to starting my tail in case I gain any weight between now and then. However if it is just bit by bit then there's no point in holding off sending them.

Raven works on them whenever she can manage. Sometimes it's a couple at a time, sometimes it's just one. Just depends. I only gave her my measurements in July I think. She'll tell you when she needs measurements.

Those pics are so gorgeous they look like Photoshops! That's a compliment; those tail shadows would be difficult to fake...lol

What really excites me are the large dorsal fins on Lionfish Raven; they suggest that my wings really will work!

Got the email my fins are being attached and my tail is being painted this week. The wait is over...well, almost. I'm beyond excited. But ugh, I'm in love with the Calypso fluke on the gold tail. That is hands down, the nicest, most realistic yet fantastical fluke I've ever seen. I already want to order another tail because of it. Just take my money, Raven, all of it; it's yours.
