That magnificent tail certainly does match Merley's description! It is a delightful combination of the beautiful fantasy of the more feminine tails and the tattered scrappyness of the darker, original Sea Dragon! I hope this is your desire fulfilled, Merley!

Aww, Raina you beat me to it. I got my update email today as you can see. There's still more blending and layer work to do for the colors. But I'm in love. I nearly cried. This is my face right now

Raven told me she thought she sent it Monday but it got saved as a draft instead. I'm so excited. Like cry laughing it's weird and ugly but I don't care.

That was a dick thing of me to do as soon as someone said it was likely yours I realized that was dumb of me. But it looks so pretty and I know it'll be amazing when it's done. Yaaay!

Thanks Neri :3 I'm the happiest girl in the world right now. Woah, a lot of posts were made by the time I hit post. Thanks Crystal and Miyu, it should look even more amazing as she layers on the iridescent opal-y colors.

OMG MERLEY THAT TAIL!!! I gasped out loud when I saw it, and now I feel like crying too! And I usually don't like pink tails very much. They're beautiful, but I'm about more realistic designs. But I've reacted this way with your tail so far, Isabel's blue/purple/silver tail, and a few of Raven's original creations. And the sketches of Michelle's fire angel sea dragon tail.

I'm really glad you got an update. I knew Raven had been working on your tail because we discussed it before, but she was busy with the tank shows so I didn't get a chance to check in with her. (Even though I ask people not to bug me to bug her, I will sometimes check in with her of my own choice just to see how her general work load is going) Isn't it nice to know it's so far along? I can't wait to see the finished product. You'll be amazing for sure! I just love those tattered fins and I think Pink doesn't get enough use in the mer world.

I think that's a bit unfair. Does Raven need to work on wait times and finding time to update people? Sure. She knows it's a weakness, she tries to be upfront and is working on ways to improve. It's still an issue right now yes, but compare that to how Eric has acted for years (though to his credit I hear he acts a lot better now, so this isn't meant to bash him just point out the past) Raven doesnt mock her clients, she doesn't insult them, she doesn't publicly accuse them of things, she doesn't make up fake reasons why things are delayed, she's not cruel to them, she offers full refunds, free upgrades, she eats shipping costs all the time, gives freebees to compensate for wait times. I just think that's a really unfair statement and kinda hurtful honestly

I know everyone sees me defend her and kinda thinks oh that's Raina. But I wouldn't allow that kind of statement about Jesse either (who is also struggling with wait times and communication right now too).

I really apologize, Raina, because I understand now (much to my horror) that it was a wrong choice of word. Although I DID precise that it was just MORE CHALLENGING because of the wait for updates. I was just talking about the waiting phase for replies. That was all. Really. It was not to critize Raven negatively, nor to make an unfair statement. Like I said in the beggining, "in a way". I DO know and understand how busy she is and I respect that. A lot. But yeah, You're right. "worse" is too much of a strong word to be used for the comparison I just wanted to express as an opinion.

I have the same respect for all the mers who is waiting for a tail from her. I admit that's something I might not know because I did only wait less than 6 months for mine.

Again, I'm sorry because I did not mean to make you upset, neither any of you who read my post. I take back what I said.
