You could even make different types of scales, I know you made yours with shells as molds, so there could potentially be all sorts of special/limited edition scales! And I mean, having a bunch of scale pendants in the same colours as your own tail... how neat would that be? You could wear them in your hair, scatter them throughout a top, put them on a keychain or on your bag...

Or, my favorite idea - get a buttload of scale pendants in your tail's colours, and give them to kids/clients/friends/etc. as magical mermaid gifts!!!

Oooh, another quick scale pendant idea - you could make limited edition sets (or repeating sets, depending on what various mers feel like) of mer's tail colours, and people could collect certain mer's scales...

(um, yeah, I collected a lot of Pokemon and Digimon as a kid... and I just like collecting, period - it's a fun hobby, and this would be a relatively low-space-consuming collection)
