Well that's very close to what we were going for with the design

so that's an awesome compliment. I was going for the dark siren type of mer rather than the sunshine and rainbows mer, lol. It matches the character I will be playing as well as my own personal self, I'm so in love with how it turned out! ^^
It was scary for me wondering if the design would look as well in person as it does on paper, but it looks better than I ever imagined!

When is the Flordia meet up? It's a slim chance it'd actually be on the same day, but for my boyfriend's birthday and our anniversary we'll be going to DisneyWorld April 20-26

I still dondon't have anything planned for us on the 25 but we may go over to Universal Studios, still not sure.

Just a quick question for a project I'm working on; how much would a basic scale top cost me? I think the website says about $220? And how much would a custom fluke cost?

Also have they updated their prices on their FB page from the move yet?

I don't know about the scale top, but I think custom flukes start at $400 (not info from the twins, Arion mentioned it at some point) and they did update the prices on their Facebook page.

I'm seriously so excited to recieve it!
I've been debating something lately, I'm hoping anyone reading this can maybe help. Regarding an unboxing video, I really want to do one, but since I am at my California home for the holidays it makes it difficult. My parents love to easedrop sometimes and tend to come in at random inopportune times and with my anxiety added into the mix, it makes it hard to do a carefree unboxing video. I've been debating doing it after they go to sleep, but even then I can't be loud. So does anyone have any ideas about what to do?
I've thought about maybe doing it silently and adding subtitles later or maybe using a whiteboard?
Also been conflicted about making a Facebook page, but in the long run, I don't think I will since I don't really see a point to it.

Lorelei are you against having your family film it for you? If you knew they were going to be in the room you wouldn't hAve to worry about unexpected surprises.

About a fb page, the only reason to make one is if you plan on doing a lot of photo shoots you want to share or making it a business, really. Being a public figure is hard work and not for everyone <3 you do what makes you the most happy!!!

Yes, I actually am against it.

Like I said, I have anxiety and cannot film my videos in front of family otherwise I will go into a panic attack or freeze up. I need to be alone to film sadly. My boyfriend sometimes films for me since he's one of the few people I'm completely comfortable with, but he is with his own family now and is unable to come over. It's not really a matter of surprises, it's more that my parents are extemely judgemental of every move I make. They already aren't to keen on my mermaiding.
As for the page, yea I do plan on photoshoots but not really much business. I think I'll just stick to my Tumblr, Instagram and Youtube. I'll only make a Facebook page if Mermaid July and I's mermaid series takes off.
