Red face Funny things your pets do?

Anything you find humorous that your pet does.

I have a dog, whom you can say "go to your bed" to and she walks over to her little bed sadly and gets in.

My cat also loves sitting in the sink and drinking water from the faucet.

Dawww, mine just tell me when they want to go to bed XP.

There is no place to start with my Lorikeet Zazu lol. Sometimes when I start scratching his head and stop he keeps moving his head, or when i randomly put my hand over the top of him he'll roll onto his back.

My dog "talks" with weird noises because she knows we put her in time out when she barks, and taps my shoulder or grabs my hand when I have something she wants.

Oh man, my bird. My bizarre bird. Ed Wood III the budgie. He fell in love with a small yellow bead on one of his toys and was crushed when he finally whittled it away to nothing. My mother and I ran all over town trying to find an identical toy, but apparently bird toys are limited edition, because we couldn't find the damn thing anywhere. He finally accepted a toy with a similar yellow bead...and promptly fell out of love with that and became enamored with a bell. He LOVES bells. He sticks his head in them and coos.
My family has kept rats for years. (Anyone with a rodent phobia should skip this.) My boy Mr. Lucas can be "hypnotized" if you rub his neck. He half-closes his eyes and licks my arm. As soon as I stop he's hyper again and wants to climb on my nephew's toys.
I've had almost animal I've ever had in my hair. The dog I had my whole life (RIP Sherry), my lizard (RIP Luna), ALL my rats, a cricket (that was unintentional; reptile husbandry leads to weird situations), one hamster (I do not trust hamsters; my hamster problem is another story though), and one Rosy Boa (she was an educational snake at the nature reserve where my friend's mother works; I put her on my shoulders and she decided it was warmer to curl up in my hair. I looked like an actual gorgon, it was awesome. I also scared the crap outta a lot of people. Good day all around.).
This post is a Russian novel. Sorry, I just really love animals and especially my pets.

My bunny would just randomly black out, fall over with a loud thump and then within seconds he was up, shook his head and he was awake again.
Very funny when you're eating dinner outside and suddenly you hear a thump. After a few years, when we heard him black out we just went like 'Oh, he fainted again'
And when he was 4 years old he had little holes in his ears, like you have when you have your ears pierced, and we joked around that he wanted earrings.
And once I bought a harness for him so I could take him to the park, it always turned out that I would have to carry him there, put him down on the grass and he would just lay there eating the grass in his reach and never moved to another spot.

We put him to sleep 2 years ago, he got a fat lump in his neck and couldn't lift his head anymore to drink or to eat, the only thing he could do was laying down and sleep, and he was always very energetic so we decided that letting him pass away was the best for him.

My cat Raja loves to play so much, that if you stop playing with her and she still wants to play, she will chase her tail in the middle of the room (in the center of attention), then switch directions and chase her tail again. She also will wait until the exact moment I wake up to beg for attention. She will force her head under my hand to pet her, and throw her body against my face/body/hand over and over and over again, right after I wake up. Such a lovable cat.

My dog and the dog we're looking after....we have so many stories of them.

Minnie jumping up on the sofa and sitting on Oz when he was sleeping next to my dad, turning to stare at us guilty. Jumping towards the table when we were eating our food and missing when she was a puppy. Pushing my friends dogs off the sofa and hitting them on their noses.

I knew she was crazy when we took her to puppy play group. The vets is set up that there's a long hallway and the vets had placed a bowl of water for the puppies to drink at the end. Minnie had laid in it and then decided to run down the hall managing to slip. I remember seeing a blur of brown and white before a crash as she went into the door.

Mum trying to stop her from going in the water, Minnie just ran right past her. The time she thought the water was shallow and she went straight under on the beach.

hamsters were crazy too. Remember Hammy (who was awesome) walking across the table and taking the biggest crisp he could find and ate it.

When I had my cats, my cat Thomas, at bedtime, would sneak under the covers, turn around and lay his head on my shoulder. Then five minutes, he'd try to walk over me to get out. A person's neck just isn't made for that.

One of our dog, Anne, loves to go for car rides and goes nuts if you use the word "ride". I took her to the vet once and would tell her "ready to go to the vet?" and she would just look at me confused, then I would ask "ready to ride to the vet"? and she would go nuts and rush to each available car to get in. Of course once we got to the vet she is so shy of other dogs she climbs up on my chest (and this is a medium sized dog too).

Anne loves it when your shoveling snow or using the snow blower (Anne in Snow), though recently she thinks its fun to be in front of the shovel when your throwing gravel on the driveway.

Many of our 8 cats will sleep in the bathroom sink, waiting for someone to turn on the water. One of them will put it's arm under the water and drink off his arm.

Our momma cat, Orla, will hang off the screen window to the kitchen when she wants into the house. She taught some of her babies to do the same.

Tippy, one of her babies, loves to ride on shoulders, and if she is on your shoulder and you stand next to someone else she will move over to their shoulders. If that person then turns around, Tippy moves back.

A few of our sheep want treats so badly, they will try and knock down Mom (Sheep attack)

We had a duck named Tuesday who thought he was a chicken, and at night he would sleep next to the chicken coop instead of with the rest of the ducks in the orchard.

If I don't wake up on time my mom's cat, Yasha, has decided the fastest way to wake me up is to lay on my neck and lick my face.

My dog Raven has this strange habit of taking damp towels and face cloths out of our laundry baskets and then rolling around/ rubbing her face all over them.. I've never understood why.

I recently brought my fish tank back home from my college dorm so that the two gold fish my roommate won in a fair can be re-homed (They are getting huge and a ten gallon tank is not adequate for a goldfish what so ever), and one of my cats was inspecting the tank while I was making sure the fish made it okay. Originally we thought he would try to eat the fish the first chance he got, instead, he watches them like he is hypnotized and hugs the tank.
Needless to say, we keep the tank in a closed room just in case he gets any ideas .

We've got 4 cats and a 3lb Chihuahua. Oddly enough the cats all seem to think the chihuahua is a kitten that needs caring for. They all tolerate her jumping on them (one actually initiates play with her) and they all take turn grooming her. And all but one are male cats, so it certainly isn't the mothering instinct (the female cat is actually the least patient, and swats the dog when she gets annoyed).
One of the cats hates to be locked up for the night (they get into too much mischief unsupervised), so when he sees the other cats being carried to the cat room he runs and jumps on our bed. If I'm already lying down, he'll cuddle with me and make pleading mews. I think he figures thst one night well give in and let him sleep on the bed, lol.

One time I was standing next to my cat and my dad was mocking me by going "WA WA WA WA WAAA" and my cat repeated it and we just stood there like what?
