Oh yes!
Finally got someone, my sis in law, to take a video of me swimming in my practice tail.
The kids in it, are my niece and nephew. At one point after I put on my dorky prescription swim mask, my niece says, "You look like you got an elf nose!" Which she is referring to the moose in Frozen.
Yea bad posture and extreme floatiness aside, I think I'm doing better than my first ever swim last year...

Looking good! You're so much better than I am -_-; Then again, I still have next to zero practice in a monofin, LOL!Kind of envious of those goggles, there, they make doing flips look easy!

I tried many times with blowing bubbles out of my nose when I do the flips, but water still goes up it and make me cough and splutter. So I gave up and bought a snorkel version of the prescription swim goggles from the same company. I will practice more and get used to blowing bubbles out at the right timing, to avoid coughing in the water. Just needs practice with the mask as sometimes I forget and don't do anything other than suck in a lungful of air!

A swimteacher at my pool said to try to make an "Mmmmmmmm" sound when turning underwater, to keep water from my nostrils. It worked quite well.

I want to do flips but I'm afraid at becoming disoriented and forgetting which way is up lol. I think you did very good.
Yea, the swim before this one, I did it in the deep end and there was a few times that I didn't know which way was up!
But after a couple of tries one knows where to go for air.
