Alright, I designed this a few years back, but here it is!my Jareth tail! based on the Goblin King (the beautiful lord David Bowie) from the movie Labyrinth in the song As the World Falls Down. I know the heel fins are a bit wonky, they're based on his crystal balls.

How I'm going to construct the curved bits, I really don't know! I'm going swimming tomorrow, so hopefully get some ideas whilst finning the lane!

So I posted this earlier in a Finfolk thread but I'll add it here too (thanks to CowgirlMermaid and Julianne for directing me over here)
The fluke is one of the styles offered by Finfolk (really liked the shape). The coloring I ended up basing off the skin on my upper arms (light peachy color with darker pink mixed in and lots of freckles, plus I'm super pale so you can see the veins in my wrists/hands very easily). I'm really happy with how it came out and it's definitely my dream tail. I have to save it for it (which will take a while) so for now it'll stay on paper. And in the meantime I need to work on training so that when I eventually get said tail I'll actually be able to swim. Anyway, here's what I came out with:

I enjoy designing tails
I'm not a pink person so I will never make it myself but I might have to make the top.
How you paint with water colour I'll never know but that is a beautiful picture, and you are high up in my artist book because that is a skill I do not have.
