    My name is Danny and I wanted to send you a thank you message.


    I randomly came across your page through a friend who liked your profile and so I stalked your profile and I came across your post where you shared your personal message that you were deaf and wore hearing aids. I'm deaf too, and I alsoo wear a hearing aid in my right ear and cannot hear without it.


    Anyways while growing up, I found it easier to pretend to be 'normal' than have to constantly explain to people about my deafness. After reading your post, it made me realize that I was deceiving and denying many of my friends the chance to know an important part of me.


    So I just made a big ol' declaration on facebook and now all of my family, friends, and co-workers know. Kinda like coming out of the closet haha.


    So thank you for making me realize that I wasn't being fair to my friends or myself by living this fake pretense and wasting all this energy. I feel a lot better to not carry it as a secret.


    I shocked a few people(Which I admit, in a weird way is kinda fun), but overall I had a pretty positive response. So thanks Arion!"

    They gave my husband and me a vacation to Majorca as a belated honeymoon gift. So we are going on a holiday this year afterall

    I had the day off today. I spent it drinking tea and working on my business plan. I ALSO found a very promising looking mentorship program that, for once, isn't directed only at people aged <29.

    When I did my first mermaid gig my Octopus couldn't be there and she felt so bad that she got me a beautiful necklace. She didn't have to but oh my gosh it's gorgeous!
