Hey Everyone!

We've been asked to jump on to clarify a post we made earlier this week. We have NOT made six brand new tails for the July Mermaid Experience. We have made TWO new tails for the Experience. One for a client who was already on our July calendar and one for a client who was actually on our calendar this past spring and opted to wait. We have NOT bumped anyone back on our calendar due to the event, we are NOT currently taking new orders (we've topped off at a year wait, with a VERY relaxed production calendar, which means everyone should be receiving their tail in the timeframe quoted to them upon making their down payment), and we do have quite a few tails that have been completed and shipped, but not posted, as we have had a very busy month and are doing our best to keep up with our Instagram and Facebook posts. Hope that helps everyone better understand where we're at!

I'm sorry, I came late to the party. Does this mean that if someone paid for a tail but then cancelled the order they won't get their money back?

They won't get the deposit back bit of they've paid more then I /think/ there is some refund.

That's soooo pretty!!! I finally came up with a good color scheme for my tail, it's going to be cotton candy blue and pink with silver stripes and trim. <3 My tail was set to be made in April but my schedule got lost in the move and they just found out that it's late. They're going to give me some free upgrades! I still have a little bit left to pay off on it, but I'm just so excited!!!

Hey, has anyone heard from Finfolk personally lately? I've messaged through the Facebook page and Abby directly about 5 times in the past 3-4 months and haven't heard anything from them. I'm going on 7 months waiting for my matching top now (they actually still have my bra they were going to use as a base so the sizes matched as well).
Back when they were super busy, I let them know that there was no rush on it (I don't have any upcoming events anymore and I have my tail already, so I don't mind waiting for others to receive their own first tails), but this is getting a bit excessive of a wait and I can't seem to get reply back. I really don't want to keep pestering, though.

Thank you everyone! I'm absolutely in love with my tail and its colors <3 yes the girls are ever so busy and I just got home from my trip to Hawaii to work with them and See Through Sea. They were incredibly busy while I was there and will be for a while as you can see since they've capped their wait list. Try messaging them today or tomorrow since we have all finally left hawaii and the girls in peace ;p

I feel you. I had no news from them for two months and then Abby finally responded two days ago only to leave me two sentences. She got busy right after and I haven't gotten another reply yet. So yup... BUSY BUSY and BUSY.That's cool though. I can wait a few more day ahaha

Thank you both. Like I said, I completely understand that things have been busy and I'm so proud with how well their business is taking off (the shoots they have been doing with clients are jaw-dropping! Yours included Mermaid Ripple! The photos are stunning)!
It's just hard because it's been a long back and forth and there was even one week in March, I believe, where they told me they were starting the top that week, but things came up (once again, understandable) and it never happened. I've been trying to make due with my own top for the time being, but it would still be nice to have the matching silicone top, especially for photo-shoots and swims coming up.
I'll probably glance through the top-making threads and see if I can get some ideas.
