I might actually be going to London!!!!!!! And Oh My GOD I LOOKED IT UP!!! There really is a 221B Baker Street! EEEEeeeeeee!

During a visit to London, I actually sat on the steps of 221B Baker Street while waiting for a cab once. It took me about 10 minutes before I realized what steps I was sitting on, lol!
I was like, "heeeywaitaminute...this area looks familiar.." (turns around to see number) "OMG!"

I forget (if we go) when it is, but it's for my dad's friend's wedding, so a couple days, I'm guessing. I say if we go because my parents also have the option of going to a Tough Mudder in New York. Without me. His friend is paying for the tickets either way, so nice! (I'm rooting for London!)

I think I'm going to make a sequin tail!! For traveling purposes and dry events it would be more convenient than my finfolk tail just weight wise as well as preventing damage from my gorgeous tail

I'm trying to teach my two-year-old to say "mermaid", but she insists it's "Mommy" when I point at pictures of mermaids. I'm content to let her keep thinking that.

15 years ago, during the carnival in Cologne, I aquired a big sheet of a fabulous, shimmering white fabric that I wanted to make my dream dress out of.

I asked my mother for help, but she said she couldn't sew well enough, and we should go to a seamstress.
But we never found one, and then for many years (due to a lot of moving houses), the fabric went missing.

I found it again a few weeks ago.
Since I can sew now, I'm making my dream dress out of it myself.
And there is enough fabric left to make another long snake tail too
