    Any Hispanic/Latino mers out there?

I'm Peruvian and my mersis/business partner is Puerto Rican. Just wondering if there are any other Hispanic sirenas out there! I know my Peruvian family flipped when they found out about my mermaiding, cuz it's not too common in South America. Does anyone else have an experience like that?

Did you use to work as an aquarium mermaid with a fishbutts tail? If not, there's another Peruvian mermaid out there! Harlem Mermaid is Puerto Rican and I think Mermaid Lanai is as well. Raven and Anita are Mexican. Hmm... I think there are more, but these ladies are the only ones that come to the top of my mind.

Mexican-American sirena here! My family is pretty used to my strange hobbies, so they just sort of nod and smile at this point, haha.

Venezuelan mermaid here! I've been in the US for about 8 years.
My family handled it pretty well, I've done weirder things and have had more bizarre hobbies in the past so being a mermaid was no shocker.

    I'm mostly Mexican.

(More Mexican than anything else but I'm a total mutt and my ancestry also includes German, French, Irish, Scottish, English, Portuguese, and possibly Jewish)

Suffice it to say that I'm Mexican enough that it's incredibly pathetic that I don't speak Spanish, given that it gets rapidly shouted over the table at family parties.
