Actually I think that was not a joke. Same people who think if you are raped and don't want the baby your body will make it so on its own.
Personally I think that only female representatives (about 18% (even though 51% of the US population is female)) should be allowed to make laws and vote on things that are laws that impact women. But then I also think that local governments should be filled with one person from each neighborhood, each county government is one elected person from each local region, state government elected from each county, and so on.

Hey now! I may consider my complexion to be a bit off-green but I am still a tree-hugging money-loving Pagan Libertarian. I tend to vote Republican because I believe in a small government and flat taxes. You will not get those from a Democrat. As for the clitoris, well I did watch Monty Python's Meaning of Life!

But you aren't exactly the norm amongst green-tinged republican men!! For most republicans, flat taxes and small government aren't why they vote republican.
(I have to say, I believe in progressive taxes and government intervention, but not really the issue at hand.)
