I AM SO FRUSTRATED, UGH. So we're finally getting a week of GORGEOUS weather, nearly 30c today and yesterday, super warm and sunny... And I can't go swimming in my tail. I'm avoiding the pools where I live because I've had a really hard time with the chlorine the last few times I went (plus the pools around here are really iffy about tails now because of all of the controversy in the news), so I want to go to the river outside of town, where I grew up, to swim around in fresh water and feel like a real mermaid and get a nice photoshoot and all that. But my boyfriend keeps arguing that the water's too cold, and won't listen to me when I tell him it'll be fine-- After all, the water around here is ALWAYS a little chilly no matter what kind of summer we're having, which is why I opted for a neoprene tail-- The last time I swam in it (which was, sadly, back at the beginning of March), it held heat like CRAZY. But Dave won't listen to me. >:T

I figured I might be able to change his mind this week, or at the very least find someone else to go with me... And then last night, I hit my period. So that basically means I can't swim for a week, because I can't use tampons. And I honestly don't know if the weather will last that long, because it's been nothing but rain and drizzle and frost warnings all summer up to this point (the weathermen in my province got arrested for the shit weather. Yeah, that happened.) The forecast is even changing to drop to colder temps and start raining again later the week... :c

My tail is just sitting uselessly in my closet. :c All I want is ONE good outdoor swim, but it feels like everything is working against me! Is that so much to ask? DAMN YOU, UTERUS, YOU FILTHY SQUISHY TRAITOR.

The thought of actually syncing my period with another human being is kind of unusually exciting to me-- I used to have really irregular periods and the closest to "syncing" I ever did with another female was when my periods would sync up with the shedding cycle of the family iguana... >->

yep. thats excatly why. but tbh i still have worn them. actually it kinda makes me feel better about loosing my virginity because according to religon its already gone sooooo

I know that feel. :T Turning 25 in a few months and I still can't track my period worth a damn. They used to be all over the place (anywhere from 1 to 3.5 months apart, with no pattern, for no reason) and even though they're monthly now I still completely forget about it. My boyfriend does a better job tracking my period than I do... XD

So i have good news....my mother called me yesterday letting me know that she was in panic when she called me about the house and said some stupid things. That they were off course going to help us out with the house.
So that takes a lot of pressure off for sure.
Still i am under a lot of stress about what is next to come.
To top it off i had a complaint from a customer.
Pearliemae told me to get thicker skin when dealing with customers and i have done my best to get that.
I was doing great with it untill now with this customer.
So we ship worldwide and we never have had complaints (knock on wood) about items getting damaged apart from 1 woman with a magic wand which was an easy fix with a half a drop of glue.
In my second Etsy shop i sell craft supplies and we ship wedding doves, butterflies and birds all over the world from Asia to America to Australia etc.
I had an order from a woman here in the Netherlands our own country and off course she got a damaged dove GRRRR.
It is such an easy fix with half a drop of glue, i know because i tried but she is such a complainer now about how she ordered something in good condition and expected it not to be broken or damaged and she is soooo upset because now she has to go to the store to buy glue.
She is trying to get me to send her a new bird which i am not willing to do.
I have a policy that if people do not want insured shipping but standard shipping i am not responsible for damages.
First she said that the beak of the dove was not there, which i was 100% sure of it was because i double checked the order.
Then she said it was there in the box and how upset she was it got damaged.
She said that the box was perfect so it was not the shipping companies fault.
All it takes is half a drop of glue to fix it.
It is a craft wedding bird made out of styrofoam, feathers, sequins and the beak is i think out of paper.
Anyway, i had 1 of those birds with a defect that i put aside (i have a habit of not throwing things away cause it may come in handy one day) and i used that one (same as hers) to try to glue it.
I took of the beak and glued it back on. Half a drop and done.
So i want to send her a tube of the craft glue that i have in stock so she can't complain or leave a bad review.
But...the tube says that the glue is for all materials except styrofoam and the bird is made out of a styrofoam body, yet the glue works perfect.
A good friend of mine said not to send her the glue because she has another thing to complain about.
But the glue works, i think it does not work on bigger surfaces maybe but we are talking about a miniscule area where only half a drop of glue is needed and it works perfectly.
So what should i do?
Send her the glue and hope it makes her happy?
Or not send her the glue and wait for the bad review?
To glue or not to glue, that is my question....

Guys..(er.. ladies) i use the Clue App to track my periods. best damn thing ever. Laci Green was talking about it in one of her videos and i gave it a shot.
