It's hard to know what people mean by seasons. Netflix divided the second season up into two parts and called it season 2 and season 3. I honestly think this might be the last season of Mako (this new one). It would, at least, match what H2O did and have three seasons of 26 episodes each.

Ocean Girl,which I wish netflix would play again, went 4 seasons as I recall. They re-cast the mother which made things confusing as the actresses were not at all alike. I was really disappointed with the finale that of MM/MIS that was on netflix. I am not the target demographic or viewer. It was evident that cost were cut and there were hardly any tails or beauty shots of mers swimming. On the other hand I was sort of expecting this to go sort of Ocean Girl and we learn that mermaids are from a different planet/dimention and the chamber is the spaceship. Do not get me wrong I liked OG even better than MM/MIS. Even more fun to know that the kid Geoffrey Walker was the director of H20:JAW.

After that short vid, I'm pretty disappointed! I had hoped that with there being a different race of mermaid (Chinese), that her tail would be a different color too. It's kinda old fashioned the way that they have done it. Its like saying, girl mermaids MUST HAVE ORANGE TAILS, and boy mermen MUST HAVE BLUE TAILS. Its the whole pink for girls and blue for boys debate again.

So I had to let Netflix go (hey, I'm a poor college student leaving with his parents! Leave me alone!!!!) So if anyone knows any way I can watch Mako online or if there are any apps or whatever, please let me know. I've mananged to find one episode online but no luck for the others and no torrents for the second half of the season :/
Also doesn't Weilans tail have some red around the end of it? On the end of the clip where her and Ondina are swimming it looks like her tail has red whereas Ondina's does not. On the end. I could be wrong though.

not to keen on this photo.. look at Weilan's tail it's not level with the others. its just not balanced.

Neri Elvina: Yes, there are only 16 episodes in season 3, it was announced quite a long time ago. I heard something about financial issues but I don't know it for sure. Maybe they invest the rest of money into the movie, which was confirmed by the producer.
