Thread: B!TC# IT OUT!

  1. #5361
    Here a new bitch..

I'm getting sick of the updates from mermaid groups. No offence to the people who make them but it's invading my Facebook feed and because of that. I'm missing posts from people who matter to me. I keep on scrolling and scrolling, always the same stuff who keeps on coming, until I see something new from my Facebook friends. It's annoying me to the point I wanted to throw my phone out of the window so many times I lost count...

    Gaaaaaaah!!!!

I'm tempted to quit my job as an admin and leave both groups. I love mermaid stuff but there is a limit.

    *sighs*

It's just great when the co-worker who likes to throw you under the bus does it YET AGAIN!!!

I actually disabled the "Follow" option and changed my settings to Friends Only on my mermaid page because Xianne was, like, the first person to follow my page after I made it. :T Which was SUPER CREEPY because it was within the first 24 hours after I made my page, too, and before I'd actually publically posted about it anywhere. I blocked them, too, but I got really paranoid and worried that they might start following me on alt accounts (Xianne and people like them are also why I haven't logged into my mermaid page in weeks, either >->).

    SHIT'S CREEPY, YO.

What kind of a dress are you wearing, and what color?
I sure hope you will have photos made and maybe share some with us?
I am truly sorry to hear you can't find a perfect place though, i still feel it is absolutely ridiculous that they charge you $800 for a not used service. Completly insane to me

I have heard about soul food from movies or when i hear people talk on tv but never really knew what it exactly was.
    Thank you for explaining!
When my hubby and I go for a tour through the United States (hopefully in the next few years somewhere) i would love to go somewhere where they make soul food and taste it. Not sure about the pig intestins but even that could be tasty. I eat liver worst and blood worst over here, so why not try it?
I have heard of gumbo and cornbread but once again, never was able to taste it.
Wow, your great grandmother was 105? That is so amazing, she must have had great stories to tell! I wish i had met my great grandmother and was able to get some of her knowledge and wisdom, you were very lucky to have been able to meet your great grandmother
I haven't gone dress shopping yet, I'm planning on doing that next year, but I'm thinking of a fit and flair or mermaid gown (I originally wanted a ballgown, but my aunts and cousins told me that being petite a ball gown will probably just eat me alive) We have found 3 places that will allow outside food, be they don't allow hard liquor (so nothing but wine, champagne and beer, and we all hate beer, I've never had the other two though) So we're probably just going to sacrifice our ideas of having mixed drinks around the theme (we wanted to find some drinks we could make with horchata haha) and just have different mexican and American beers for those who might like beer.

I love love love gumbo! Last time we made it, we made a giant pot of it with crabs, shrimp, spicy sausage, and crawdads. it was glorious.

And yep, grits are soul food too I have a love hate relationship with Grits, depending on who makes it, how watery they are, and how long ago they've been made. my fiance loves grits with a passion, he ate them when he had no idea what they even were and ever since then he keeps asking me for grits.

don't write off ballgowns just yet, there are some that aren't full blown cupcakes
Take the wave now and know that you're free
Turn your back on the land face the sea
Face the wind now so wild and so strong
    When you think of me
Wave to me and send me a song

Do you maybe have a good GUMBO recipe for me that i can try to make myself?
My hubby may not like it since he is not into shellfish i believe but i am sure i will love it and so will my parents so i could make a big pot full and share the joy :-)

About the wedding dress, i agree with PhaylennMurúch
Do not right ball gowns off just yet, i would suggest trying on every type of dress that you like (which must be so fun to do!), if you go to a dress shop that knows what they are doing i am sure they will find you the perfect dress for your body type and size.
My god....i love watching shows on TLC like Say Yes To The Dress and the one where bridesmaids go shopping and the wedding gown rescue thing with Randy, love it love it love it!
I am not married yet, i call my boyfriend my hubby since we feel and act married, he calls me his wife everywhere as well, we just did not get married officially yet.
Since i did not meet his family in person yet (only talk on skype and facebook) it would not feel right to me to get married. But we are husband and wife in our hearts already :-)
I can't wait to go dress shopping one day!
To tell you the truth it may be even better not to have liquour at your wedding, it may prevent some people to become annoyingly drunk.
You could always create some fabulous none alcoholic cocktails or mixed drinks.
As a kid i had a mixed none alcoholic drink on a cruise ship and i swear i still think of how delicious that drink was till this day!
If only i knew how they made it!

By the way, i have been wondering, the gif you gave Momo says Thenamlessdoll, is it a cartoon?
I watch a lot of fantasy movies, series and cartoons lately while i work.
Last weekend i watched some Tinkerbell movies and Barbie as a fairy/mermaid in a movie and loved them, also watched a German movie from Cinderellas which was awesome as well.
I love watching them while working on fantasy items for my shop or when i do other work :-)

My thoughts go out to all the people in Paris, all the people (most likely 60 or more) that have been killed, the many wounded and the 100 people still being held hostage, and everyone else who is fearing for their lives right now!
What is becoming of this world?

I just heard about this!! How terrifying! I'm praying, as well. It's awful seeing so many horrors happening at once! I hope they get help and the terrorists are found and brought to justice soon!!

I spoke to kitty and I know she is safe, as for any others I don't know.

They just announced that around 100 died in the theatre...

I can't even find the words right now...

They announced on the news here that they stopped the hostage situation, killed the terrorist and about 10 of the hostages were killed, not all 100 i believe and hope!

    That's great to hear Lotus!
I heard a friend of mine who lives there as well is fine too.
The numbers of people killed are all over the place right now. I don't think we will hear the real numbers untill tomorrow or so.
At least not everyone was killed in the concert hall, some people were able to escape but most were not that lucky
