LouLouBelle - I have been working on a peacock inspired tail design too but I can't seem to decide on a final design for the fluke. I want to take a lot of inspiration from the different feathers such as the sword feathers and butterfly feathers but I also don't want to make it look too bird-like.
It would be cool if the tail could shine different colors in different lighting just like peacock feathers do. In some lighting they are more blue-green and in other lighting they are more orange/pink/yellow. When my peacocks get wet in the rain their feather color looks completely different when wet. I see why so many people take inspiration from peacocks for their tail. They are really beautiful birds.
