Hahaha! Truth. Michaels is the ONLY place I bother using coupons, and I won't walk in without one. But I can take my husband, because he's an artist too. Book stores, art stores, and B&H Photo are budget destroyers.

After being out of a job for the past couple months I finally got a job interview this saturday! Hoping I get the job.

My boyfriend and I were in a car accident right before the new year. It wasn't terrible but my back has been in some pretty serious discomfort since. I've been feeling pretty shitty with the whole back pain and having to figure out how to finance my next semester at school and blah blah being an adult is lame etc.
But we were recently contacted by the man we crashed with and he wants to reach a settlement (the crash was his fault) and if all goes well I should be able to use my settlement money to finish paying for my semester and buy my first silicone mermaid tail! I'm trying not to jinx myself in this by posting it online but even just getting to pay my tuition off would be fintastic.

I getting to the point where I could retire, both in terms of age and financially. But I was not sure I really wanted to, there are many fun things going on at work. So I asked HR if I could go part time, 32 hours a week, (so I still get medical) and they said yes! Now I have three day weekends!

Have a video shoot this weekend for an 80's theme commercial. I'm production, not talent for this one, but that will not stop me from wearing a crimped side pony tail and blue eyeshadow!

I'm so happy! I finished a cosplay I was working on,and finally got someone who could help me with registering for this semester's classes. I was having some issues with the system.

A friend of mine just got an apartment with her boyfriend!
She's been living in this crappy room in a house who's owners rent out the bedroom. For a while someone was serially shitting in the showers.

And now she has an apartment!!!! It even has a pantry for their occult-y stuff and she is so happy and I am just thrilled.
