Ahhh my tail arrived today!!! So excited! Its just a fabric tail but its my very first, my introduction to the big wide world of Mermaiding, if you will. Its an Artic Blue Fin Fun tail with their v2.0 monofin inside. What do you guys think?

Thanks! The Fin Fun tail actually exceeded my expectations - the monofin being encased in Neoprene looks very sturdy, inside the neoprene cover they have put two leather tip covers to cover the monofin to stop it ripping through the neoprene or the tail fabric. The foot pockets were very snug but comfortable and the overall monofin shape looks really great. I haven't tried swimming in it yet so I will know more about it's functional ability once I have been swimming. I was pleasantly surprised with the sizing, because as you probably know the biggest size it goes up to is 'Adult Medium' and according to the size charts I'm a few cm too short for it, but I was happy to find they were quite generous with the length around the hip area so it fits my waist perfectly, I'm 172cm in height.

The postage from US is really great. They say 7-10 days and they really mean it. I ordered my tail just after X'mas and despite public holidays and the new year etc I got it just 8 days later. They do indeed have an Australian arm (finfunmermaid.com.au) and postage and tail cost is cheaper but they don't seem to have all the adult colours in stock, and because I couldn't wait I was happy to pay extra for it to come from US in the colour that I wanted. Comparitive price us to Australia - from US was $210 AUD including postage, Australian site would be $187 AUD including postage.

While Sarina crafted her own top, I am the tailmaker I've made around 9 fabric tails: for my sisters, myself and Mermaid Sarina...
Here is my little sister's brand new tail she got for her birthday. She's gorgeous!

Im seeing more and more mermaids making their own tails, Good on you for giving it a go. -I cant sew to save my life LOL. and everyone on here- YOUR TAILS ARE ALL AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL..

Will I share my tail? Oh very very soon.. With Bluefish's retirement and Tsunami's (aka Bluefish 2.0- Evolved edition) Ready for her Debut, I cant wait for the next two weeks to fly by already So I can do the unboxing and Coo' over her,

I already have another tail in the design stage, Possibly iridescent. No clue as of yet. but it's moon jelly inspired for sure.
