Honestly, I am so tired of the "real mermaids don't ____" argument. MERMAIDS ARE NOT REAL. And if they were, there are MANY ways in which they might be shaped, or move. The very fact we can actually swim with monofins and tails in the dolphin kick kinda shows me that if they were built like us, they could move too! But seriously, I am so tired of these people who are so freaking obsessed with the knees of a fictional character. To the point they need to tell me in just as many words "har har you don't fool me!" *facepalm* how pretentious can you get? I actually roll my eyes when anyone goes on about their version of what they think a mermaid is must be the only damn true mermaid. Sorry. I don't buy it.

As a cosplaying friend (who cosplays as wolverine in the most awesome way) once said to me: "Who are you, to tell me, my make believe isn't real enough?"

On a side note this guy has been obsessed with me online since I was 16 years old. that's 14 years of my life. I'm not even sure how he found me or what the context is but every website I used like twitter, deviantart, youtube, buddy follows me there and is always like "I care about you more than you know..." He somehow knows a lot about me- I am thinking from back when I was a teenager and not as careful with my info on the internet. He always calls me by my full real name and I keep deleting his damn comments.
